Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council holds its periodic meeting chaired by Al-Khobaji

The Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held on Wednesday, its second weekly meeting headed by Dr. Nasser Al-Khobji, Acting President of the Council, Head of the Negotiations Affairs Unit.

The meeting discussed the most prominent developments in the southern arena, specifically what the capital Aden witnessed, reaffirming what came in the special meeting held by the Presidency on Tuesday in this regard.

The Presidency reviewed what was stated in the statement of the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the events in Aden the capital, renewing the Council’s welcome to the invitation extended by the Saudi leadership, and the declared position expressed in the statement issued by the Council through its official spokesperson.

In its meeting, which was attended by the Director of the Office of the President of the Transitional Council, the Presidency addressed the repressive actions that the city of Seiyun of Hadramout valley witnessed against the protesters who are calling for better living conditions, and which lead to a number of wounded, confirming its condemnation and denunciation of those practices that are carried out only by occupation forces that have been stripped of all their human values.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Presidency affirmed the Transitional Council keenness on dealing with all initiatives and efforts to support the government of parity, enabling it to play its role to stop the economic and service collapse in the capital Aden and other governorates, and speeding up the payment of salaries of military and civilian employees, and resolving the causes of popular congestion.
