Al-Khobaji discusses with advisory team of General Department of Foreign Affairs role of the Council regionally and internationally

Dr. Nasser Al-Khobaji, Acting President of the Council, Head of the Negotiations Affairs Unit, held a meeting on Thursday, with the head and members of the advisory team at the General Department of Foreign Affairs of the Southern Transitional Council in the capital Aden.

The meeting discussed the latest developments at the regional and international levels and their implications for the internal situation and the course of the political process, foremost among which are the procedures for implementing the Riyadh Agreement and the mechanism for accelerating it.

In this regard, the meeting welcomed the position of the leadership of the Arab coalition represented in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia declared by its Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud, who emphasized that the Riyadh Agreement and the formation of a parity government is an important step in paving the way for an integrated political solution to the crisis.

The meeting also discussed a number of issues related to strengthening the role of the Southern Transitional Council at the regional and international levels in a way that serves the achievement of the goals of the people of the South in the current and future stage.

Dr. Nasser Al-Khobaji was briefed on the activities and work of the advisory team, praising the role and accumulated experiences of its members, stressing the importance of the visions and ideas presented by them in advancing the cause of the people of the South at this important stage.
