Dr. Al-Khobaji holds extended meeting with leaders of a number of Southern military units and brigades

The Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council, Head of the Negotiations Affairs Unit, Dr. Nasser Mohammad Al-Khobaji, held on Tuesday, an extended meeting with the commanders of a number of Southern military units and brigades.

At the outset of the meeting, Dr. Al-Khobaji conveyed to the attendees the greetings of the President of the Transitional Council, Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed and Security Forces, the President, Commander Aidaroos Qassem Al-Zubaidi, and his high appreciation for the efforts made by the commanders and members of the Southern military and security units to defend the homeland, and to impose security and stability, and preserve the public tranquility of citizens.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Abdul Rahman Sheikh and Eng. Adnan al-Kaf, members of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, members of the negotiating team, and Major General Mohsen Askar, Adviser to the President of the Transitional Council for Military and Security Affairs, and Major General Saleh Ali Hassan, Chairman of the Southern Joint Operations Authority, and the Director of the Office of the President of the Council, Acting Commander the Sa'iqa Brigades, in addition to commanders of military units and brigades of the Sa'iqa Brigades, Resistance, Back-up and Support.

Dr. Al-Khobaji presented an integrated explanation of the progress of the negotiation process before and after the Riyadh Agreement, and the important results achieved by the official visit of the delegation of the Southern Transitional Council to the Federal Republic of Russia.

Al-Khobaji stressed that the leadership of the Transitional Council appreciates the patience of the members of the southern forces, their legendary steadfastness, and their heroic exploits despite the lack of capabilities and the interruption of salaries for nearly 8 months, indicating that they have made and will do everything they can with the leadership of the Arab Coalition to complete the salary payment procedures as soon as possible.

In his speech, Al-Khobaji noted that the leadership has not and will not be satisfied that the members of the southern armed forces, who sacrifice their lives and the most valuable possessions in order to defend their homeland, will suffer and their families suffer from the distress of living and the deteriorating conditions, and will spare no effort or means in order to obtain their rights in full.

The meeting reviewed the military developments on the battle fronts against the terrorist Houthi militia, as well as the Brotherhood mobilization on the borders of Sabiha areas in Lahj governorate.

The commanders of the brigades and military units provided an integrated explanation of the conduct of military operations on various fronts, and the readiness of the forces stationed on the lines of fire, stressing that the morale of the soldiers is high, and they are ready to make more sacrifices in order to protect the borders of the South and preserve its security and stability.
