Al-Khobaji reviews with head of Transitional Council executive body in Lahj latest developments in the governorate

Dr. Nasser Al-Khobaji, member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Acting President of the Council, Head of the Negotiations Affairs Unit, met on Thursday, in Aden the Capital with Lawyer Ramzi Al-Shuaibi, Head of the Executive Authority of the Council's Local Leadership in Lahj governorate.

Al-Khobaji was briefed by lawyer Al-Shuaibi on the latest developments in the governorate, especially the military situation in the lines of contact on the fronts of Karish and Haifan against the Houthi militia, and its western borders in the direction of Tor Al-Baha district and the areas of Sabiha, which are witnessing continuous mobilization by the Brotherhood militia.

Al-Khobaji listened from lawyer Al-Shuaibi to a detailed explanation of his visit to a number of districts of Yafae and the Yafae Military Corridor, as well as his visit to the front lines of the Karish front, and the level of readiness of the forces stationed on the lines of fire, and the efforts of the southern armed forces to limit smuggling activities to areas under the control of the Houthi militia, and its response to attempts to infiltrate the border areas in the north of the governorate.

The meeting, which was attended by Hussein Saleh, Director of the Political Department of the Transitional Council Executive Body of Lahj, and Sheikh Alwan Al-Otri, Director of the Department of Social Affairs, touched on the general performance of the local leadership of the council in the governorate, and the workflow therein.

Al-Khobaji stressed the need to redouble efforts and submit proposals that would enhance the Council's work in the governorate and develop it to keep pace with the requirements of the stage.
