The Presidency of the Transitional Council discusses number of insistent issues in Southern arena

The Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held its periodic meeting on Wednesday, headed by Dr. Nasser Al-Khobaji, Acting President of the Council, Head of the Negotiations Affairs Unit.

In its second periodic meeting this week, the Presidency stood in front of many pressing and insistent issues on the national arena, foremost among which are the measures to implement the Riyadh Agreement.

The Presidency stressed the need to accelerate the implementation of the remaining provisions of the Riyadh Agreement, calling on the sponsors of the Agreement to quickly activate the work of the joint committees concerned with implementing the Agreement.

The meeting blessed the decision of the President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, regarding the payment of a monthly reward to the families of martyrs from the armed forces and Southern security, to help them cope with the conditions of life.

The meeting saluted the Southern armed forces stationed along the borders of the homeland, praising their legendary steadfastness in all lines of fire, as well as the efforts made by the Southern security services to establish security and stability foundations in Aden the capital, and other governorates, stressing the importance of raising security vigilance to confront any attempts to disrupt the citizens' public peace.

During the meeting, the minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed and approved, and many issues related to organizational aspects within the council’s bodies were discussed and appropriate measures and decisions were taken in that regard.
