The British Women Forum in Britain, and under the auspices of the General Office for Foreign Affairs at the Southern Transitional Council in the United Kingdom, held on Friday in Sheffield, a women's event on the occasion of International Women's Day.

The event included a welcome opening, and then a speech by the President, and the Deputy of the Southern Women Forum in Sheffield on International Women's Day.

In the event, the Forum for Southern Women in Britain honored a number of southern women for their various roles in serving the country for many years in several fields.

The event witnessed many different sections, including a display of southern women's popular dress from various governorates of the south, in addition to various women's activities.

It is worth noting that the Forum for Southern Women in Britain holds its activities continuously since its launch last February under the auspices of the General Directorate of Foreign Affairs Office of the Southern Transitional Council. The forum aims to enhance the role of southern women in various social, economic and political fields, alongside the men, for the active contribution In building the society and the future modern federal state.
