Al-Shabahi representative of Transitional Council Foreign Affairs meets Chinese ambassador to Yemen
The representative of the General Directorate of Foreign Affairs of the Southern Transitional Council, Adel Al-Shabahi, met on Tuesday, with Mr. Kang Yong, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Yemen.
In the meeting, Al-Shabahi expressed the solidarity of the Southern Transitional Council and the people of the South with the government and People of China, and the appreciation for all the efforts made to contain the rapid spread of Corona virus.
The meeting witnessed extensive discussion, focusing on the Riyadh Agreement and the efforts made for its implementation. Al-Shabhi stressed on keenness of the leadership of the Transitional Council to implement the Riyadh Agreement, and appreciating the role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Yemen, as well as its sponsorship and supervision of the implementation of the terms of the Riyadh Agreement.
The meeting also touched on the historical relationship between the South, and currently the Southern Transitional Council and the People's Republic of China, and ways to be enhanced and developed.
