Transitional Council delegation holds meetings with International Oganizations in Geneva

A delegation from the Southern Transitional Council held a series of meetings in Geneva of Switzerland, with representatives of the European Union, United Nations bodies, the International Red Cross and human rights organizations.

The delegation of the Transitional Council presented detailed explanation on the latest developments at political, security, services, economic, and humanitarian levels, stressing on the support of the efforts made by the United Nations and its bodies, and all international actors to support the political, human rights, and humanitarian process in the country.

The Transitional Council delegation affirmed the Transitional Council fulfillment of its responsibilities and adhere to its commitment to implement the terms of the Riyadh Agreement and human rights standards, the empowerment of women, the protection of children and civilians, in addition to the normalization of all life in the southern regions.

The delegation of the Transitional Council was represented by Counselor Mohamed Al-Sahmi, Deputy Director of the General Directorate of Foreign Affairs for the Transitional Council in Britain, and Dr. Sana Mubarak, member of the National Assembly of the Transitional Council.
