President Al-Zubaidi discusses with tribal leaders developments in Lauder of Abyan

The President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi, met on Wednesday Sheikh Alwi Al-Afiya, a Sheikh of the Awadhel tribe in Abyan governorate.

The meeting discussed ways to enhance security in Lauder district, and the efforts of the tribesmen and southern resistance to confront the Houthi militia in Mokiras and other regions.

President Al-Zubaidi praised the efforts made by the Al-Awadhel tribes in supporting Thirah front, and in preserving security and stability, and protecting the interests of citizens in Lauder district, and thwarting the attempts to disturb public calmness by subversive groups with the aim of failing the Riyadh Agreement.

For his part, Sheikh Alawi expressed his appreciation for President Al-Zubaidi's interest in developments in Lauder district, and his keenness to provide what tribesmen and southern resistance needed to repel repeated Houthi attacks on the border areas.

The meeting was attended by Brigadier Nasser Al-Saadi, Dr. Abdul Nasser Al-Wali, members of the Presidency, and Abdulaziz Al-Jifri, commander of the Southern Resistance in Shabwa governorate.
