President Al-Zubaidi meets with Sheikh Ahmed Al-Awlaki of Shaml al-Awalq

The President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi, received, on Tuesday, in Aden the capital, Sheikh Ahmed Mohsen Ahmed Saleh Farid al-Awlaki, Sheikh of Sheikhs of Shaml al-Awalq in Shabwa governorate.

The meeting discussed developments of latest events in Shabwa, and the attacks and violations committed by Brotherhood militias against the people of Shabwa, especially the attack on Lakmosh tribes.

President Al-Zubaidi stressed that all these practices and violations are attempts to put obstacles in the way of implementing the terms of the Riyadh Agreement.

President Al-Zubaidi praised the efforts made by Sheikh Ahmed Al-Awlaki to resolve tribal disputes and tribal revenges in Shabwa, and the great role of notables and social figures in preserving the southern national gains.

For his part, Sheikh Ahmed Al-Awlaqi expressed his appreciation to President Al-Zubaidi for his keen interest in the developments of the situation in Shabwa.

Sheikh Al-Awlaki stressed that the citizens of Shabwa are and will be the support of the southern project, which is carried by the Transitional Council, which is the liberation, independence and restoration of the state, praising the successes achieved by the Transitional Council top of them the signing of the Riyadh Agreement sponsored by the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
