Dr. Al-Khubaji meets the UN Envoy to Yemen Martin Griffiths

The member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Head of the Delegations Affairs Unit of the Transitional Council, Dr. Nasser Al-Khubaji, met on Tuesday in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, with Mr. Martin Griffiths, the Special Envoy of the United Nations' Secretary-General to Yemen.

In the meeting, Dr. Al-Khubaji affirmed the commitment of the Southern Transitional Council and its keenness to implement the Riyadh Agreement, appreciating the great efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to implement the agreement in all its provisions.

Dr. Al-Khubaji expressed the Transitional Council’s appreciation for the efforts made by the international envoy towards advancing the comprehensive political process, stressing that the Riyadh Agreement has opened broad prospects for further progress within the framework of a comprehensive political process that ends the war and establishes fair solutions to the cause of the people of the South on the basis of the will of the people of the South and empowering them to have the right to self-determination.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Ali Al Kathiri, member of the Transitional Council Presidency, deputy head of the Negotiation Affairs Unit, and Mr. Abdul-Rahman Sheikh, member of the Transitional Council Presidency, member of the Transitional Council team to follow up on the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement, and Mr. Amr Ali Salem Al-Beedh, member of the Transitional Council Presidency.
