Director of Transitional Council Foreign Office in Canada meets Defense Officer in Canadian Parliament

The General Director of the Office of the General Administration for Foreign Affairs of the Southern Transitional Council in Canada, Mr. Abdul-Karim Ahmed Saeed, met with Ms. Anita Vandenbled, member of the Canadian Parliament in the ruling party, at her office in the capital Ottawa.

The Director of the Transitional Council Office in Canada, congratulated Ms. Anita Vandenblad and the Canadian Liberal Party on the occasion of her success in the recent elections and her appointment as the Defense Officer in the Canadian Parliament Secretariat.

Abdul-Karim reviewed the efforts made by the Transitional Council to establish security and stability in Aden the capital, and other southern regions, despite the obstacles put by some parties linked to Yemeni legitimacy to prevent implementing the Riyadh agreement, stressing on the Transitional Council's keenness to implement the Riyadh Agreement.

Abdul-Karim pointed out to the challenges facing the Transitional Council by the elements of terrorism and extremism supported by some regional powers to destabilize security and stability in the capital Aden.

For her part, Ms. Anita expressed her happiness at this meeting, and her understanding of the humanitarian suffering in Yemen and the South in particular.
