The General Secretariat holds its weekly meeting stressing on paying attention to the wounded

The General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held its weekly meeting on Tuesday, under the chairmanship of Mr. Fadhl Mohammed Al-Jadi, Assistant Secretary General.

The meeting reviewed the political and economic situation on the southern scene in light of the Riyadh agreement, and stressed on the importance of paying attention to the southern wounded, by processing their files and following up the issuance of the passports for the cases that require treatment abroad.

The meeting discussed the report presented by the Economic Department on the current economic scene, and noted that the Southern Transitional Council did not have political conditions to sponsor the economic conference of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Aden.

The meeting also previewed the corruption in the government institutions, especially the problem of wasting public money and causing humiliation and starvation to the southerners, and the looting and spending money by some government facilities in unreal projects.

The meeting also reviewed the report submitted by the Department of Finance and Administration on its activities during the past period.
