The General Secretariat holds its weekly meeting and discusses movements in Shabwa and events of Dar Saad

The General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held its regular meeting on Monday, under the chairmanship of Fadhl Al-Jaadi, the Assistant Secretary-General.

The meeting reviewed the events witnessed in the province of Shabwa and the crimes committed by the Muslim Brotherhood forces against the people of the province, in order to obstruct the  Riyadh agreement.

The meeting pointed out to the events witnessed in the capital Aden, in the district of Dar Saad, in which the General Secretariat condemned the attempts to destabilize the security and stability in the capital by spreading chaos through out of law armed groups, and saluted in return the responsible dealings shown by the security with these groups in order to keep public tranquility.

The meeting also discussed the plan of celebrating the 52nd anniversary of the Independence Day on November 30, which was presented by the preparatory committee.

The meeting reviewed the report presented by the Economic Department on the economic scene, including the rise in food commodity prices, and the exchange rate against foreign currencies, as well as the problems of collecting taxes and duties, and the deteriorating in the services.

The meeting also presented a report submitted by the Department of Youth and Students on the activity of the Department during the third quarter of 2019.

The meeting reviewed the progress reports of the General Secretariat departments during the past week, and the work plans and arrangements for the most important activities of the next week.
