The Secretary-General visits Mahfid after been cleared of terrorists

The Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, visited on Friday the district of Mahfid in Abyan Governorate, which was under attack early on Friday by terrorist groups, before being addressed and defeated by the support of the Shabwani elite forces, the security belt, and security forces of Abyan.

During the visit, in which he was accompanied by Hatim Mahmoud al-Mishali, the brother of the martyr Munir al-Mishali (Abu al-Yamamah), in addition to a number of military and political leaders, the Secretary-General inspected the security centers in Mahfid and the location where the terrorist incident took place, where he was received by deputy commander of the security belt in Shabwa, Abu Musab, as well as the security command and the security belt in the district.

The Secretary-General and his companions got briefed on the security situation in Mahfid district, in which the security forces and the security belt forces in the district confirmed the return of stability and security to Mahfid after security reinforcements provided from Abyan and Shabwa governorates.

The Secretary General was accompanied by Commander Mohammed Salem Al Bohar, Commander of the Second Brigade Shabwani elite, and Ramzi Al Shoaibi, head of Transitional council local leadership in Lahj, and Mansour Zeid, Head of the Organizational Department in the Secretariat General of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council.
