The Political Department organizes symposium on second anniversary of Transitional Council establishment

The Political Department of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council organized on Saturday a symposium of discussion entitled "May 11 the event and the significance" on the occasion of the second anniversary of the establishment of the Southern Transitional Council.

The Assistant Secretary General of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Fadhl Al-Ja'adi, delivered a speech in which he said: "We celebrate the second anniversary of the establishment of the Southern Transitional Council, and we see great achievements we are proud of, while the enemies see them as obstacles in their way and for their plans."

Al-Ja'adi stressed that there are many successes achieved during the two years since the establishment of the Transitional Council, including broadcasting the southern issue on external and diplomatic level, in which that what was missing for the southern issue since the start of peaceful movement.

Al-Ja'adi said: "Our enemies got annoyed by the achievements of the transitional council, and this has been shown in their military actions on the borders of the South, but these moves will not deter us from our struggle to achieve the aspirations of the southern people".

Dr. Khaled Bamdahf, Head of the Political Department of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, started the seminar by welcoming the audience and conveyed the congratulations of the President of the Transitional Council on the second anniversary of the establishment of the Transitional Council.

Dr. Bamdhef stressed on the importance of this occasion, noting that this seminar, came to put up several views on this event to be discussed.

The symposium was attended by Brig. Gen. Nasser Al Saadi, member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Eng. Nizar Haitham, spokesman of the Transitional Council, in addition to a number of heads of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, members of the National Assembly, and a number of academics, politicians, social figures and military and security cadres.
