Declaration of the Transitional Council Relief and Humanitarian Aids Committee

The Assistant Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, member of the Transitional Council Presidency, Fadhl Mohammad Al-Ja'di, attended on Sunday, the ceremony held in Aden the capital to announce the Southern Transitional Council Committee for relief and humanitarian works, in presence of a number of the Transitional Council Presidency members, and representatives of civil society organizations, and organizations working in relief and humanitarian activities.

The Member of the Southern Transitional Council Presidency, Head of the Relief Committee of the Transitional Council, Eng. Adnan Mohammed Al-Kaf, delivered a speech in which he read out the decree of the President of the Southern Transitional Council to establish the nine-member committee.

Engineer Al-Kaf pointed out that the committee will contribute in partnership with all the good for the development of the southern community and its service through humanitarian projects targeting various fields according to the need and as per the available resources.

The Assistant Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, Fadhl Mohammed Al-Ja'di delivered in the ceremony the speech of the President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi,

In which he pointed out that the declaration of this Committee comes in light of the successes of the Transitional Council, top of which its timing only one day after the launch of the second phase of the South-South dialogue which aims to strengthen the unity of the southern row.

Al-Ja'di stressed that the Transitional Council will work through this committee to upgrade the tasks and objectives of humanitarian and relief works to reach the right people, and to achieve the desired goals of development.

A press conference followed after that, in which the head and members of the committee answered the journalists questions.
