Chairman of National Assembly attends 3rd anniversary celebration of Hadramout coast liberation in Aden

The Chairman of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, Major General Ahmed Saeed Ben Brik, attended on Thursday the celebration ceremony held in Aden the capital on the occasion of the third anniversary of the liberation of Hadramout coast from the Al-Qaeda and terrorism.

At the ceremony, Major General Ahmed Saeed Bin Brik delivered a speech in which he saluted the martyrs of the liberation who have given their lives for the homeland.

In his speech, Major General Ben Brik congratulated the heroic leaders who played a great role in the liberation of Mukalla and the other provinces of Hadramout coast and praised the efforts of the Arab Coalition forces led by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, who were fighting alongside the Hadramiyah elite forces.

Maj. Gen. Ben Brik also praised Brigadier General Abdul Rahim Ateeq, the founder of the elite forces, who played a major role in the battle to liberate Mukalla and the other districts as well as the military leaders who participated in defeating the terrorism and Al-Qaeda.

The leadership of Hadramout Youth Forum Foundation presented by Dhia Al-Mohawrak honored Major General Ahmed Bin Brik, as well as Major General Abdul Rahim Ateeq and a number of heroes and martyrs of Hadramout.

The celebration included a number of artistic parts and folk dances of Hadramout in addition to drawing, photography and talents show.

The ceremony was attended by Major General Salem Al-Sokatri, member of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, and Dr. Mohammed Jaafar Bin Al Sheikh Abu Bakr, Head of the Local Leadership in Hadramout Governorate, with some members of the National Assembly and a large number of citizens.
