President Al-Zubaidi meets Director of the Office of the UN Envoy in Aden the capital
The President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi, met on Thursday in his office in Aden the capital Marwan Ali, Director of the Office of UN Envoy to Yemen Martin Griffith.
President Al-Zubaidi was briefed by the Director of the Office of the UN Envoy on the efforts exerted by the envoy Martin Griffith to resolve the Yemeni crisis and bring peace to the region, in which President Al-Zubaidi reiterated the Transitional Council's support for the efforts of the international organization aimed at finding a just solution to the Yemeni crisis and all outstanding issues, top of which the southern issue with a solution acceptable to the people of the South and meet their aspirations, stressing on the readiness of the Transitional Council to contribute to those efforts aimed at enhancing security and stability in the region.
President al-Zubaidi welcomed the directives of many countries to activate their diplomatic institutions in Aden the capital, expressing readiness to provide all security facilities to ensure the success of its tasks that are in the interest of security, stability, and development of Aden the capital.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Nasser Al-Khubji, Major General Salem Al-Sokatri, members of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, and Dr. Abdul Nasser Al-Wali, Head of the local leadership of the Transitional Council in Aden.
