President Al-Zubaidi meets the French Ambassador to Yemen
The President of the Southern Transitional Council, Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi, met on Thursday with the French Ambassador to Yemen Christian Tisto.
The meeting discussed many issues related to the political process and the efforts of the United Nations to resolve the situation in Yemen and stop the war, and work on a comprehensive political settlement.
President Al-Zubaidi praised the efforts of the French Republic and its keenness to establish peace in the region. He also presented the vision of the Transitional Council to achieve sustainable peace.
President Al-Zubaidi also briefed the Ambassador on the efforts of the southern forces in fighting terrorism and extremism.
For his part, the French Ambassador expressed his appreciation for the positions of the Southern Transitional Council, noting that the movements of the Transitional Council at home and abroad indicate the political maturity of the Transitional Council, which would lead it into a new political stage.
