Vice President of the Transitional Council meets Head of the International Crisis Group

The Vice President of the Southern Transitional Council, Hani Ben Brik, met on Wednesday in Aden the capital with the head of the International Crisis Group, Paul Mellie, accompanying him the researchers of the International Group April Alli and Peter Sillsbery. In the meeting that was attended by Ahmed Lamlas, the Secretary General of the Southern Transitional Council, and Lutfi Shatara, member of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, the Vice-President of the Transitional Council presented a detailed explanation on the Transitional Council and its tasks since establishment on the way of restoring the South State, after the victory of the people of the South and the heroic southern resistance against the destructive project of Iran in the region and its allies in Yemen represented by the Houthis. Ben Brik stressed that the Transitional Council, which has been founded through a popular mandate, managed during the last two years since its establishment to be a real partner with the Arab Coalition countries in proving security and stability in the liberated southern provinces, in which the security forces, including the security belts in Aden, Lahj and Abyan, and the military elites in Shabwa, Hadhramout and Al-Mahra, have been established with the support and training of the Arab Coalition forces to fight Al-Qaeda and its camps in the southern provinces. The vice president of the Southern Transitional Council briefed the group officials on the importance of the visit of President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Southern Transitional Council, and his accompanying delegation to London and Moscow to inform the world on the reality of the demands of the people of the south, away from any misleading to the will of the people of the south by political entities in the Yemeni legitimacy that try to distort the demands of our people and their right to restore their state. Hani Brik pointed out that this visit is a continuation of the previous tour to London, Paris and Berlin to explain the vision of the Southern Transitional Council and enhance the Transitional Council foreign relations with various countries in the world. Ben Brik reiterated that the people of the south desire freedom, peace, and a decent life on their state land, stressing that exceeding the will of the southern people will undermine peace and stability in the region and the whole world.
