Lamlas on the occasion of International Women's Day: Southern women achieved a lot comparing to other Arab women
The Secretary General of the Southern Transitional Council, Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, on the occasion of the International Women's Day, stressed that the Southern women have leading roles in all fields of struggle.
In a statement on the occasion of 8 March, the International Women's Day, Lamlas said :" We heavily count on the women and their tasks in building the Southern state".
The Secretary General of the Southern Transitional Council added that no one can deny or ignore the sophistication and sincerity of the Southern women through their preceding and leading in important positions, not only in the South, but also comparing to abroad, in which the Southern women achieved what couldn't be reached by many other Arab women.
Lamlas congratulated the women on their International Women's Day, stressing that the woman has a strong determination to continue her struggle and to overcome the difficulties with her ability to be effective in the society and in her free and independent Southern homeland.
