The STC Local Leadership of al-Mu'alla Holds its Founding Meeting



  Under the auspices of the president of the Southern Transitional Council Aidroos Qassim al-Zubaidi, the local headquarter of the Southern Transitional Council of al-Mu'alla district held on Monday its first constitutive meeting, in presence of member of the STC Presidency, Amin Saleh, the head of the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in the capital Aden, Dr. Abdul Nasser al-Wali and his deputy, Dr. Essam Abdo Ali.

  After reciting several verses from the Holy Quran and playing the Southern National Anthem, the member of the STC Presidency, Amin Saleh welcomed all the attendees and conveyed to them the greetings of the president of the Southern Transitional Council Aidroos Qassim al-Zubaidi and his deputy sheikh Hani Ben Brik. He stressed the importance of the inaugural meeting of the STC Local Leadership in al-Mu'alla district, pointing out that this move is taken within the framework of completing the organizational structure of the Southern Transitional Council in all the districts and governorates.

  For his part, the head of the STC local leadership of Aden, Dr. Abdul Nasser al-Wali said that the efforts will go on to achieve the desired goal; the restoration of the independent southern state within the pre-May 1990 borders. He made it clear that the unity of 22. May 1990 has expired and the occupation, destruction, oppression and humiliation that followed the War of 1994 have ended forever, affirming that the Southern Transitional Council encourages peace and dialogue.

  The head of the local leadership in al-Mu'alla district, Dr. Ali Awad expressed his gratitude to the president of the Southern Transitional Council Aidroos Qassim al-Zubaidi and the head of the STC local leadership of Aden, Dr. Abdul Nasser al-Wali for the confidence given to them in fulfilling the national assigned tasks.
