The Head of the Mass Action Department Meets the Head of Yemen Women's Union

  The head of the mass action department, Aqeel Al-Attas met this morning at the STC General Secretariat premises in Aden with the head of Yemen Women's Union, member of the executive office of the Arab Network of Literacy and Adult Education and assistant secretary-general of the Arab Women's Media Network, Amna Mohsen Al-Abd and the secretary-general of Yemen Women's Union, Nadia Mohammed Qaid.

  During the meeting, head of the STC mass acion department, Aqeel Al-Attas emphasized the important role played by women in community activities, considering it as one of the most important pillars of civil society and a reflection of the evolution in societies. he pointed out that women suffered from injustice and oppression and it is time to play her assigned role.

  For her part, Amna Mohsen Al-Abd expressed her happiness for this meeting which consider as an opportunity to introduce the role of women and exchange views on women's issues in the liberated southern regions for the public interest of the society.
