Abyan: The STC Local Leadership of Mokiras District Holds its Founding Meeting

  Under the auspices of His Excellency president Aidroos Qassim al-Zubaidi, the local headquarter of the Southern Transitional Council of Mokiras district in Abyan governorate held Saturday morning its first constitutive meeting, in presence of the head of the STC local leadership in Abyan, Brigadier Aidroos Haqis and member of the General Assembly Haidra Nasser Al-Jahmaa and tribal, military and political leaders of al-Awadel tribes.

  The head of the STC local leadership in Abyan pronounced a speech in which he welcomed the attendees and conveyed to them the greetings of the president of the Southern Transitional Council Aidroos Qassim al-Zubaidi. He touched on the difficult humanitarian conditions under the occupation, stressing the need to stand together as one to defeat the Houthi militias and wibe them out of the last remaining district of the province and the south.

  For his part, the head of the STC local leadership of Mokiras, Abed Rabbo al-Gishani confirmed the importance of unity, cohesion and coordination of efforts to liberate the district from the pro-Iranian militias, adding that Mokiras made great sacrifices in the battle against the Houthi aggression on the South. He also confirmed that the STC local leadership of the district will work side by side with all the southerners to restore the independent southern state on its national soil with its eternal capital Aden.
