The STC Local Leadership of Asse'id District Holds its Founding Meeting

  Under the auspices of the president of the Southern Transitional Council Aidroos Qassim al-Zubaidi, the local headquarter of the Southern Transitional Council of Asse'id district in Shabwa Governorate held on Sunday 18 February 2018, its constitutive meeting, in presence of the head of the Transitional Council in the province, Sheikh Ali Mohsen al-Sulaimani, his deputy Aidroos Baouda, the commander of Shabwa Elite Forces in the district, Col. Salem Mohammed Hantosh and members of the National Assembly.
 
  After reciting several verses from the Holy Quran and playing the Southern National Anthem, the head of the local leadership in Asse'id district, Said Khamis Timor pronounced a speech in which he welcomed all the the attendees, indicating that the district is living a historic day by holding the founding meeting of the STC local leadership that moves forward with positive steps in the province, pointing out that the members of the local leadership will work cohesively with a team spirit to achieve the aspirations of the district, which needs a lot of vital services and other important basic requirements, calling the inhabitants to cooperate with the local leadership and to reject the prevailing regionalism trends and tribal fanaticism and to thwart the occupation plans that try to hinder Council by making lies and fabrications, affirming that the Southern Transitional Council led by the President Major General Aidroos Qassim al-Zubaidi will achieve the aspirations of the southern people who made enormous sacrifices for the liberation and restoration of the southern State.

The meeting concluded by naming the members of the local leadership and the executive body in the district.
