The STC Local Leadership of Zinjibar District Holds its Founding Meeting

  Under the auspices of the president of the Southern Transitional Council Aidroos Qassim al-Zubaidi and under the slogan together to eradicate corruption and spoilers and to restor and build the Southern Federal State, the local headquarter of the Southern Transitional Council of Zinjibar district held its constitutive meeting on Saturday, 17 February 2018 in Abyan Governorate.Present att the meeting  deputy head of the Transitional Council in the province, Mohsen Abd, member of Abyan organizational department, Abdullah Barhout and head of the financial department in the province, Yasser al-Salahi.

  After reciting several verses from the Holy Quran then greeting the southern flag and playing the Southern National Anthem, the deputy head of the local leadership in Zinjibar district, Mohsen Abd pronounced a speech in which he welcomed all the the attendees, indicating the importance of the file of the reconstruction of Abyan Governorate which was neglected by the legitimate authorities. He called them to promote the principle of reconciliation and tolerance among southerners, pointing out that 2015 war has strengthened the unity of the Southerners, stressing the importance of maintaining this great victory, not to incite animosity and hate against one another and to hold on to the objectives of the Southern liberation revolution.

  For his part, Head of the STC local leadership in Zanzibar district, Saleh Nasser Bouabdeen conveyed the greetings of the president of the Southern Transitional Council Aidroos Qassim al-Zubaidi, adding that Zanzibar is hoping for a bright future for the generations. He urged the newly named members to work honestly and faithfully, affirming that the STC local leadership will support them.

  The meeting named the members in the STC local leadership and chose the heads of the executive bodies in the district.
