Al Zubaidi to France 24 : We Warned the Government of the Deteriorating Situation Several Times

  In a televised interview with France 24 Television this evening, president of the Southern Transitional Council, Major General Aidros Al Zubaidi said that the STC has warned the government several times on the deteriorating economic situation in the south in particular and the country in general specially the public services including the fall of the local currency and the lack of the oil derivatives. We called that government again and again to respond to the people of Aden in particular and the South in general but it went on in its corruption.

  Al Zubaidi stressed in the interview that the situation before the announcement of the 4th of May 2017 differs from post  May 2017 and that the situation is different now after the 30th of January 2018 and that the council is still serious in calling president Hadi to sack this failed government and to replace it with a competent one to lift the country out of its deteriorating status.

  In the interview Al Zubaidy confirmed that the Southern Transitional Council and the Southern Resistance adhere to their constant fundaments to continue their partnership with the Arab Coalition until the end of ‘Decisive Storm’ and the achievement of its objectives.

  He added that the stance of the Southern Transitional Council and the Southern Resistance is stable in rejecting any presence of the Northern Military Forces in the South, confirming at the same time that the Southern Resistance will support the Northern resistance until they liberate their land for its commitment to partnership with the Arab Coalition.

  Al Zubaidi in his interview with France 24, he called on the international community to be a true partner and support in any future negotiations, and that the STC welcomes any future peace negotiations under the auspices of the international community, which will guarantee the rights of the people of the South to self determination.

   He confirmed that the Arab Coalition forces are in charge of securing the liberated governorates calling on them to protect the people in these difficult times.

  He also referred to the latest events in Shabwa governorate calling it an act of terror and a retaliatory response to the Southern Transitional Council and the Southern people for having supported the Arab Coalition Forces in fighting terrorism.
