President Al-Zubaidi Congratulates Albudaiwi on Appointment as Secretary-General of the GCC
President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, the president of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and the vice-chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), sent a cable of congratulations to Mr. Jasem Mohammed Al-Budaiwi on being appointed as the new Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC).
In the congratulatory cable, President Al-Zubaidi wished all success to Mr. Al-Budaiwi in his new position to promote integration among the GCC, strengthen the process of joint Gulf action, contribute to maintaining stability, and achieve comprehensive peace in our country in particular and the entire region in general.
