NSMA Reviews Latest Preparations for Holding FCSJMM

The National Southern Media Authority (NSMA) held its periodic meeting on Sunday, chaired by Mr. Ali Abdullah Al Kathiri, member of the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), its official spokesman, and the head of NSMA.

In its meeting, NSMA reviewed the latest preparations for the First Conference of Southern Journalists and Media Members (FCSJMM), to be held on Tuesday and Wednesday in the capital, Aden.

Likewise, NSMA listened from Dr. Abdullah Awad Al-Haw, its member and head of the preparatory committee of the FCSJMM, to a detailed explanation of the tasks accomplished by the committee for convening the conference, which included preparing the documents that will be discussed at the conference and its general program, in addition to the accommodations for guests and participating delegates from various governorates of the South.

Similarly,  NSMA extended its sincere thanks to President Aidaroos Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the STC, for the unlimited support he provided to hold the conference, and for overcoming all the difficulties that encountered the Preparatory Committee, despite his continued preoccupation and over engagement in the national tasks.

To the end of its meeting, NSMA appreciated the immense efforts exerted by the Preparatory Committee and its sub-committees to prepare for the conference, inviting all journalists and media members to effectively contribute to the success of the conference and its outcomes to establish an inclusive entity that expresses their will, defends their rights, and promotes their professional responsibilities, after more than three decades of exclusion and sidelining.
