President Al-Zubaidi Gets Briefed on Latest Developments in Al-Bayda Governorate

President Aidaroos Qassem Al-Zubaidi, the president of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), and the deputy head of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) received on Saturday, at his residence in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, Major General Nasser Al-Khader Al-Sawadi, the governor of Al-Bayda Governorate.

President Al-Zubaidi listened from the governor, Al-Sawadi, to the latest developments in the situation in Al-Bayda governorate, in addition to the people's suffering resulting from the daily violations and inhumane acts practised by the leaders and armed personnel of this militia.

The president was also briefed on the military situation on the fighting fronts of Al-Bayda and the level of combat readiness of its resistance in light of the Houthi escalation on various fronts, reaffirming the support of the PLC for the local authority in the governorate and its efforts for cohesiveness. In the same context, noting the fraternal, tribal, and common geographical ties that link Al-Bayda governorate with the governorates of the South.

For his part, Governor Al-Sawadi expressed his thanks to President Al-Zubaidi for his fraternal attitudes in assisting citizens of Al-Baida, affirming the readiness of the governorate's leadership to perform any assigned tasks to free the governorate of the Houthi occupation.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Mohammed Al-Ghaithi, director of the General Directorate for Foreign Affairs (GDFA) of the STC and head of the Consultation and Reconciliation Committee of the PLC, and Mr. Imad Mohammed, office director of the deputy head of the PLC.
