Under Patronage of President Al-Zubaidi.. the Relief Committee Launches Distributing Food Baskets to Schoolteachers

The Relief and Humanitarian Action Committee of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) inaugurated on Monday, in the capital, Aden, a project to distribute Food Baskets to school-teachers and educators in Aden under auspices and support from the president of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), the Supreme Commander of the Southern Forces, President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi

During the inauguration, which was attended by Mr. Aad Haitham, Head of the Social Affairs Department in the General Secretariat in the presidency of the STC, rapporteur of the Relief Committee, and each of the Committee members, Dr. Mahmoud Shaif, Mr. Osama Bin Brik, Dr. Wisam Muawiyah, General Director of Sheikh Othman District, who delivered a speech in which he expressed gratitude to the leadership of the STC, represented by the president Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, for the immense efforts that he has been making to alleviate suffering of citizens in the society.

Mr. Muawiya pointed out that this project which was performed by the Relief Committee, will have a significant impact on school-teachers and educators in the capital, Aden, and will be reflected on developing the educational process.

Noteworthy, the Relief Committee of the STC, launched these Food Baskets, is targeting “13,000” school-teachers in the capital, Aden, starting from Sheikh Othman district, and the distribution will be continued to all districts of the capital, Aden.

The inauguration was attended by Ms. Ishtiaq Mohammed Sa'ad, Head of Woman and Child Department in the General Secretariat of the presidency of the STC, Mr. Mazen Al-Baghdadi, Head of the Relief Committee in the executive body of the local leadership in Aden, Brigadier Riad Darwish, head of the executive body of the local leadership of the STC in Sheikh Othman, Mr. Anwar Mihdhar, Director of the Education Office in the district, Mr. Sami Khairan, head of the South Labours' Union, Mr. Yaser Farhan, head of the teachers’
