The Secretary-General of the Southern Transitional Council, Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, chaired on Thursday the weekly meeting of the General Secretariat with the heads of its departments.
The meeting presented a number of reports related to the General Secretariat's departments, which was approved in the previous Secretariat meeting last week.
The meeting reviewed reports on the participation of the Transitional Council delegation in the international conferences and forums, in which they delivered a number of important southern messages to the international community.
The Secretary-General praised the roles played by the General Secretariat's departments to go with the general directions of the Southern Transitional Council.
The Secretary-General of the Southern Transitional Council said that the aim of the periodic meetings of the Secretariat with the heads of its departments is to discuss the reports of achievement and to overcome the difficulties that may face the plans of the departments, in order to serve the community and the South citizens.
Lamlas stressed that the Transitional Council derives its strength from the people, and that the Transitional Council will be at the level of that confidence by all means and possibilities that lead to the achievement of the goal of restoring the South state.
