The Russian ambassador praises the results of President Al-Zubaidi's visit to Russia
The Russian Ambassador to Yemen Vladimir Dushkin met on Thursday in Aden the capital with a number of the presidency members of the Southern Transitional Council headed by Dr. Mona Awad Bashraheel.
The Russian ambassador expressed his happiness for meeting the leaders of the transitional council in Aden, in which coincides with the meetings in Russia between the Russian authority and the President of the Southern Transitional Council, Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, and the Transitional Council accompanying delegation, which is currently visiting Moscow.
Mr. Dushkin pointed out that The meeting of Mr. Baghdadiov, the adviser of President Putin and the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister with the leadership of the Transitional Council is a very important step for Russia and in the right way to keep communication between the Transitional Council and the Russian Federation.
For her part, Dr. Mona Bashraheel presented to the Russian Ambassador a detailed explanation about the Transitional Council and its political vision for the future of the South, a vision that embodies the will of the people of the South to restore their independent state.
Dr. Bashraheel said that the people of the south yearn for freedom, peace and a decent life on their land and the restoration of their sovereignty, pointing out to the role of Russia (the former Soviet Union) in the process of stabilizing the south after independence and building its institutions and training the south cadres in various fields such as civil and military fields.
Dr. Mona Bashraheel stressed that the Transitional Council is taking serious steps on the ground with various political forces to serve the South and its cause, and to bring the points of view closer to each other in order to achieve the goals and aspirations of the people of the South in the restoration of the South state.
The meeting was attended by Amin Saleh, Brigadier Nasser Al-Saadi, Lutfi Shatara, members of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council and Dr. Abdul Nasser Al-Wali, head of the local leadership of the Transitional Council in Aden the capital.
