The Secretary-General discusses ways of cooperation with the Southern Women's Bloc in Germany

The Secretary-General of the Southern Transitional Council, Ahmed Hamed Lamlas., met on Thursday in Aden the capital with the head of the southern women's bloc in the Federal Republic of Germany, Fatima al-Bayti.The meeting, attended by member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Niran Sooki, discussed ways of cooperation and coordination between the transitional council bodies and the women's bloc at all levels.The Secretary-General stressed on the need of coordination and cooperation in the areas of human rights and others in which women are active at.to present the southern issue, and convey the critical humanitarian conditions in the south to be delivered to international organizations in European and the worldLamlas stressed that the Southern Transitional Council praises the leading role of women and will continue to support them to carry out their national activities, which contributed greatly to serve the southern cause.For her part, Fatima Al-Bayti pointed to the registration of the South Women's bloc officially with the German authorities.Al-Bayti stressed that the bloc is an independent entity works to serve the southern cause in Europe, and to help the people of the south and to support women to play their leadership role and preserve their rights and to be protected from any discrimination in the society.
