The General Secretariat of the Southern Transitional Council held its regular meeting on Saturday morning, chaired by the Secretary General of the Southern Transitional Council, Ahmed Hamed Lamlas.

In the meeting, that is attended by Fadhl Mohammed Al-Jaadi, member of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, and the heads of the departments of the General Secretariat, the Secretary-General hailed the 51st anniversary of the glorious national independence, celebrated by our southern people on 30 November each year.

Lamlas pointed out that the celebration this year comes with great efforts to ensure the success of the South-South dialogue called by President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, in order to bring the views closer between the Southern Transitional council and the southern components.

Lamlas praised the meetings and consultations held during the last two weeks in the National Assembly between the dialogue committee and a number of southern political parties and its positive results.

In the meeting, the plans and activities of the General Secretariat departments discussed, in addition to the results of the field trips of some departments to Dhalea, Lahj, and Abyan.
