STC General Secretariat Discusses its Work for the Next Phase



 The General Secretariat of the Southern Transitional Council held its regular meeting on Thursday morning under the chairmanship of the Secretary General of the Council, Mr. Ahmed Hamid Lamlas.

 The meeting discussed a number of issues listed on its agenda, topped by the weekly performance reports of the STC departments.

 The meeting also touched on the briefing presented by the UN envoy to Yemen, Martin Griffiths to the UN Security Council and what is stated therein about the importance of resolving the southern cause and the reactions that followed the briefing in addition to how to deal with recent related developments.

 During the meeting, the Secretary-General stressed the importance of the next phase that requires more concentration on making everyone in the Secretariat a media front that promotes belonging and loyalty to the southern cause.

 The meeting discussed and approved the minutes of the previous one, affirming the importance of enhancing communication and activities with the executive bodies of the local leaderships in the provinces and districts. the meeting stressed the need to prepare a plan for the activities to be held during the next phase and the importance of presenting the operating budgets of the STC departments in line with the future plans.
