The STC Local Leadership of Sheikh Othman District Holds its Founding Meeting

  Under the auspices of His Excellency president Aidroos Qassim al-Zubaidi, the local headquarter of the Southern Transitional Council of Sheikh Othman district held on Wednesday its first constitutive meeting, in presence of the member of the STC presidency Engineer Adnan Al-Kaf and the head of the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in the capital Aden, Dr. Abdul Nasser al-Wali.

 During the proclamation ceremony, Engineer Al-Kaf pronounced a speech in which he welcomed all the attendees and congratulated the inhabitants of Sheikh Othman for choosing their local leadership, indicating that the Southern Transitional Council began to take steps on the ground and practice directly its political work through its local leaderships. He expressed gratitude to the coalition countries, led by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates for their generous support for the capital Aden and the south in general.

Eng. Al-Kafof highly valued the role played by the local leadership of Sheikh Othman district for making this meeting possible, calling them to assimilate all the southerners in the leadership and to not accuse others of betrayal, the South belongs to its citizens, stressing that everyone who believes in liberation and independence of the South is from the Council and to it.

 For his part, the head of the STC local leadership of Sheikh Othman, Dr. Shafi'i Jafar Al Shalali said in his speech that Sheikh Othman district is the beating heart of Aden and the gathering of all humble people, the district that presented many martyrs to defend the land of the South. He affirmed that the objectives of the STC local leadership of Sheikh Othman are development and construction in various areas of life, including the building of a state of security and law and fighting terrorism.

 The meeting formed the executive body and named the members of the local leadership in Sheikh Othman district.
