Under the auspices of His Excellency president Aidroos Qassim al-Zubaidi, the local headquarter of the Southern Transitional Council of al-Mansoura district held on Saturday its first constitutive meeting , in presence of the head of the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in the capital Aden, Dr. Abdul Nasser al-Wali.
After reciting several verses from the Holy Quran and playing the Southern National Anthem, the head of the STC local leadership of Aden, Dr. Abdul Nasser al-Wali pronounced a speech in which he welcomed all the attendees, stressing that al-Mansoura district is the city of the peaceful movement for liberation (Hirak), the city of resistance that endured the siege and hunger throughout the war of March 2015, but it was not defeated and it did not kneel down, pointing out that al-Mansoura is the city of social interconnections, familiarity and compassion where displaced people shared bread and firewood.
Dr. al-Wali also adressed a message of appreciation and respect to the women of Aden, the south, and the world on the Women's Day . His speech affirmed also that the Transitional Council is struggling for the restoration of the independent southern state within the pre-May 1990 borders.
For her part, the head of the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in al-Mansoura district, Dr. Amani Abdullah Nasser pronounced a speech in which she expressed the appreciation of the members of the STC local leadership for the confidence given to them, affirming that it is considered a responsibility on their shoulders for serving all the loyal southerners, she also made it clear that all the members of the local leadership in al-Mansoura shall perform their tasks according to their location, qualifications and abilities in serving the citizens and give their top priority to the district through collective action away from away from individualism and irresponsibility, adding that the southern will is the solid ground for all the actions.
The meeting formed the executive body and named the members of the local leadership in al-Mansoura district.
